Sugar Beach, Kihei Maui – It’s hard to go wrong when you do a sunset painting, especially when the location is the Hawaiian islands. Sunsets are becoming a favorite subject of mine to paint because of the larger than life impact they produce (as evidenced when viewed in person!). I wanted to paint this specific location because I love the name…’Sugar Beach’ just sounds inviting to me, a sweet spot to visit indeed!
